Six senses

The six senses in the Imagination Index are the dimensions of mental imagery we measure: Visual, Auditory, Olfactory, Gustatory, Tactile, and Motor. Each corresponds to a category in your Imagery Profile with its own linear score and percentile score. Imagery can vary independently by sense—for example, strong visual imagery with weak auditory imagery (or the reverse). Measuring all six gives you a multisensory picture of how you imagine and helps explain differences in learning, creativity, and communication.
