Pleasant vs unpleasant (olfactory subcategories)

In olfactory imagery, pleasant and unpleasant are subcategories that can differ in strength. Pleasant smells (e.g. flowers, baked goods) and unpleasant smells (e.g. garbage, chemical) can activate different brain regions and vary in vividness for the same person. The Imagination Index includes items for both; your Olfactory category linear score aggregates them, and the full report can show whether pleasant or unpleasant odor imagery is stronger for you.
