The percentile score tells you where you stand relative to a reference population. For example, a percentile of 75 means you score higher than 75% of people in that category. It is computed from your linear score using norms so that the same linear score can map to different percentiles in different senses. The Imagination Index uses percentile (together with linear score) to assign your status—aphantasia, phantasia, or hyperphantasia—for each of the six senses and overall.
