The "mind's eye" is a common phrase for voluntary visual imagery—the ability to form mental pictures of people, places, objects, or scenes without looking at them. People who have little or no visual imagery are sometimes said to have a "blind mind's eye," which relates to aphantasia. The Imagination Index measures visual imagery (and the other five senses) so you can see how strong your mind's eye is relative to a reference population.
