The BAIS (Bucknell Auditory Imagery Scale) measures auditory imagery along two dimensions: vividness (how clear the inner sound feels) and control (how well you can direct or change it). These can differ—some people have rich but wandering inner sound; others have precise but faint internal audio. The Imagination Index measures auditory imagery as one of the six senses and reports your linear score and percentile score for the Auditory category in your Imagery Profile, so you can compare it with visual imagery and the other senses.
